Businesses of all kinds want to keep customers in the family longer. Yacht builders are particularly seeking ways to do so. Sanlorenzo is the latest to add several new services to make clients feel more at ease. The Sanlorenzo High-End Services division will provide personalized financing and leasing solutions, crew training, charter management, and even maintenance and refit.
In terms of financing and leasing, Sanlorenzo says it’s partnering with its “primary financial partners.” The shipyard does not reveal what companies or banks these are, however. Specific to leasing, Sanlorenzo says the Italian strategy is the most competitive among the ones compliant with the European Union regulations. In addition, flying the Italian flag reportedly eliminates the need to pay property taxes on your yacht. Of course, you should consult your legal representative in considering your options.
For crew training, the Sanlorenzo High-End Services division joined forces with Hill Robinson, well known in yachting. All crew will attend the Sanlorenzo Academy not only to learn proper safety procedures, but also to hone their hospitality skills. Depending on the crew position, the training may take up to six months. In addition, regardless of position, all crew will learn features and systems designs specific to Sanlorenzo yachts.
The Sanlorenzo High-End Services team has partnered with an experienced partner for charter, too. Specifically, Equinoxe Yachts will market your yacht, including at upcoming Sanlorenzo-only charter open-house events. In addition, the firm will provide consultancy services for the legal and administrative details pertaining to charter. Finally, if you enroll your crew in the Sanlorenzo Crew Academy, you’ll receive a 12-month warranty extension on your new yacht.
Finally, service and refit can take place anywhere. But, the shipyard prefers customers to come home, so to speak, since its team is most familiar with your yacht. Therefore, the new division created Sanlorenzo Timeless, for ongoing maintenance, redesigning the interior, and extensive refits. Regardless of choice, the tasks can take place at all three Sanlorenzo shipyards.
