Her delivery takes place another year from now, but the 65-meter ISA Classic that recently restarted construction promises plenty for her owners and guests. This 213-footer shows off abundant blue hues and some interesting technical solutions to make access and relaxation more enjoyable.
While ISA Yachts has built a few Classic projects over the years, Enrico Gobbi gave the ISA Classic series a makeover in 2017. This particular contract saw signing over a year ago. Construction had to stop earlier this year due to COVID-19 lockdowns; however, it restarted just last month.
With that, the shipyard can release a few advanced looks and details about the 65-Meter ISA Classic. Besides having enviable volume exceeding 1,400 gross tons, she has six staterooms, including the owners’ suite. Technically, a seventh stateroom is possible by converting a lounge area. Furthermore, everyone has two pools from which to choose, with one having countercurrents for a workout while swimming. Outdoor movies will be possible, too, as will indulging in massage services and a Turkish bath.
That sauna and massage room sit just forward of the beach club (top), which has a Murano glass bar and three access points. First, guests can arrive the traditional way via tender at the edge of the fold-down transom platform. ISA Yachts is engineering the hatch and the existing swim platform to sit flush with one another. In fact, part of the swim platform will tilt to line up with the folded-down aft hatch. Additionally, the nearly 1,938-square-foot (180-square-meter) beach club is accessible from the alfresco stairs leading down from the aft deck. But, finally, an internal stairway is more noteworthy. Just to starboard of the massage room, it connects to the lower-guest lobby (and their staterooms) via a glass-lined hallway. As the illustration below reveals, that glass lets them see into the engine room, essentially making the mechanicals seem like masterpieces of art.
Yet another noteworthy technical solution involves the passarelle. The owners wanted good headroom in the beach club. To provide about 6’9” (2.1 meters) of headroom there, the 65-meter ISA Classic passarelle deploys in two sections. Plus, it retracts in pantographic fashion, to port off the transom.
Once the 65-meter ISA Classic sees delivery, LEDs will frame her beach club, plus other areas onboard.
