The latest T Line from Baglietto is not just in the water, she’s in her owner’s hands. With Lion delivered, the shipyard and design teams can better point to how the T Line range still affords a lot of customization.
The yacht, measuring 158 feet (48 meters), started on spec as a sistership to deliveries like Andiamo and Silver Fox. Since the owner stepped into the project in December 2019, plenty of time remained to incorporate special features. For instance, he requested that more of the main deck be enclosed. This allowed creating an indoor-outdoor dining area and winter garden. Therefore, the superstructure extends farther aft than it does aboard other similar-size T Line yachts—and other builders’ yachts, for that matter. Additionally, the traditionally flat aft-deck glass doors are instead a curved wall of glass.
Yet another personalized touch is the guest-stateroom layout below decks. Typically, four fully separate staterooms sit here. However, the owner had Lion delivered with a series of sliding partitions to create three to five cabins. Baglietto’s own interiors department worked with the owner to ensure this type of flexibility was possible. The same department outfitted the saloon, staterooms, and other lounging and dining areas with warm, natural tones, coming from fabrics as well as woods like oak.
With styling by Francesco Paszkowski Design, the megayacht, launched in June, has many of the alfresco amenities you’d expect to find, too. The owner had Lion delivered with a spacious 1,507-square-foot (140-square-meter) sundeck, complete with a mosaic-lined hot tub and waterfall. A nicely outfitted, 495-square-foot (46-square-meter) beach club, along with a spa and gym, are below decks.
At press time, Lion was still enjoying the warm waters of the Mediterranean.
