Forty Pints is not your everyday vidcast. A project of the New Jersey-based marketing company Kraus Marketing, it provides people access to deep conversations that they might not have the opportunity to enjoy otherwise. Kraus Marketing’s head, Nick Kraus, brings on new guests each episode, and together they discuss marketing, entrepreneurship, and everything in between. Simultaneously, they share a drink of the guest’s choice—fittingly, because Forty Pints is also Kraus Marketing’s very own bar in its headquarters. Our editor, Diane M. Byrne, was recently a guest on the vidcast, a shortened version of which you can watch here.
Each Forty Pints episode is actually longer, close to half an hour. It’s due to the wide-ranging topics that Kraus Marketing strives to cover. Simultaneously, it’s due to Kraus himself making guests feel comfortable, as if just the two of them are hanging out together. It makes for easy-flowing conversations.
During her Forty Pints interview, Byrne discusses her early journalism career, and how she got into yachting. Kraus further asks about the launch of MegayachtNews.com, which came 16 years after her yachting journey started. Additionally, the two talk about their respective entrepreneurial journeys, especially the excitement in the early days. Finally, Kraus ends the conversation with a lightning round of rapid-fire questions on a whole host of topics.
