The Ferretti Group showroom in Fort Lauderdale has brought together its boatbuilding brands for more than a decade. The showroom’s newest renovation, reflecting significant changes and expansions, means customers will enjoy an entirely new, elevated experience, along with new services.
The company celebrated the unveiling with a ribbon-cutting ceremony preceding the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show last week. Fort Lauderdale’s mayor, Dean Trantalis, joined in the ceremony, noting the importance of the investment and the overall marine industry to the city.
Encompassing 20,000 square feet (1,858 square meters), the Ferretti Group showroom has a reception area for clients. One section is especially for Riva customers, much like the Riva Lounges the company has around the world. However, the showroom is not just a brick-and-mortar meeting place. It has a dozen covered slips for yachts and superyachts, amid intimate seating and meeting areas. In fact, currently, a Pershing 8X superyacht occupies one slip, as do models from Ferretti Yachts, Riva, and Wally. Further models from these and Itama sit on the showroom floor. Custom Line and CRN are represented via scale models.
Besides allowing the company to present its latest offerings in an exclusive, private setting, the slips are for yacht owners to arrive aboard their own yachts, in a more convenient and high-style way.
Unchanged, of course, is the further emphasis on maintenance and support. Should customers need service or seek refits, the showroom team can provide these. So, too, can a dedicated team at Safe Harbor Lauderdale Marine Center.
The new Ferretti Group showroom is the result of three years’ renovation work, started just prior to the pandemic. Several prior, though much smaller, renovations had taken place as well. The Group acquired the facility in 2008, the same year that it bought Allied Marine, which is its exclusive U.S. dealer.
