SeaXplorer 58 Yacht Splashes, Set for Delivery Soon

A fully custom SeaXplorer 58 yacht is entering her final build phase, having just celebrated her official launch. The rugged-looking 190-footer (58-meter) will pursue a variety of adventures, with a wide variety of watertoys and land craft.

In fact, the owner custom commissioned her to carry motorcycles and more, including off- and on-road vehicles. Additionally, she’ll carry a 37-foot (11.4-meter) sailboat. A further two multi-purpose tenders stowing aboard highlight how this SeaXplorer 58 yacht really embraces the spirit of exploration.

A total of 12 passengers will enjoy adventures around the world. Fifteen crew, along with two expedition specialists, have cabins aboard, too. An ice-class hull and engineering for 30 days’ independence from shore mean cruising can take place in some of the coldest and most-remote regions of the world. These regions even include zero-discharge zones, since the SeaXplorer 58 yacht has abundant wastewater tankage.

In terms of creature comforts, the owner is treating friends and family to several welcoming spaces. For instance, a bridge-deck dining area and lounge open up to the aft deck. A hot tub is outside on this deck as well. Additionally, a cabana-like bar and lounge sits beneath the helideck, further with an infinity pool. For spying jumping dolphins or approaching shores, guests can use the observation lounge at the bow. The Design Unlimited studio worked with the owner to ensure the overall ambience aboard was quite personal yet still appealing to guests.

Notably, this SeaXplorer 58 yacht offered a shorter build time for the owner. Damen Yachting had started the hull on spec, as it does with its full SeaXplorer line. More significantly, the yacht is the first to see construction at Damen’s facility in Antalya, Turkey.

The owner is set to take delivery during the spring. Meanwhile, Damen Yachting has the first SeaXplorer 60 under construction. Scheduled for completion next year in the springtime, she incorporates hybrid propulsion. This should allow electric-only, emission-free cruising to 7 knots.
