The still-mostly-confidential CRN 139 superyacht splashed with her owners present earlier today. They further christened their new build, during a private celebration.
Announced in 2018 as a 70-meter (230-footer), the project actually now measures 236 feet (72 meters) in overall length. Still, though, she is for a total owners’ party of 12 people, with 19 crewmembers and the captain taking care of operations.
Despite the shipyard and the design teams remaining unable to reveal too many details, a few facts are available. As you’d expect of such a sizable project, the CRN 139 superyacht (her hull number) has ample volume, 1880 gross tons. All naval architecture came from the shipyard’s in-house technical team, while styling is from fellow Italian studio A. Vallicelli & C. Design. Her profile reveals soft, smooth lines amid six decks.

Inside, yet another Italian company, Nuvolari Lenard, collaborated with the owners so that they and their guests will enjoy the seagoing lifestyle. Both the décor and the general arrangement of staterooms, saloons, and other leisure areas came from the studio. Other than areas having a capacious ambience, no specifics are available in terms of marbles, woods, or other materials setting the overall scene.
While the shipyard prepares CRN 139 for sea trials and delivery in the coming weeks, it has three further new-builds in various stages of construction. Among them is a 279-footer (85-meter). She, too, goes by her hull number, that being CRN M/Y 144. Yet another notable fact, she’ll be one of the largest deliveries so far from the Ancona-based builder. Project Maranello, a.k.a. CRN M/Y 143, is under construction as well. This 220-footer (67-meter), bears design by Nuvolari Lenard, the eighth time the shipyard and studio have paired up.
