YachtAid Global is best known for its charitable work. It connects superyachts to communities in crisis, helping to deliver much-needed humanitarian aid after natural disasters. However, the non-profit also runs conservation-oriented initiatives. Along those lines, Operation Swimway is its latest enterprise. What’s more, the expedition and dive specialists from Tahiti Private Expeditions are Operation Swimway partners. Furthermore, they’re extending an invitation to superyacht owners, guests, crew, and charterers to play a first-hand part in protecting endangered water life.
Briefly, Operation Swimway enables you to work closely with distinguished members of the scientific community. These scientists are fully devoted to accelerating the conservation of pelagic species. The collaborative efforts in which you can participate particularly focus on conservation of critical migration corridors for sharks, manta rays, sea turtles, whales, and billfish. Overfishing and bycatch have dramatically impacted these corridors, unfortunately. This makes it all the more crucial to help the species reach new feeding grounds and maintain their population numbers.
