Key Northrop & Johnson clients have a host of new luxury-lifestyle benefits available. The experiences usually exclusive to IGY Marinas’ owners-membership program are open to them thanks to a new partnership.
The benefit is for limited customers. Specifically, those who bought a yacht after May 1 of last year through Northrop & Johnson, have an active central agency for sale or charter through the company, or are a yacht-management client can take advantage.
IGY Marinas, with 23 properties across 12 countries, caters to both homeported and transient yachts and superyachts. It offers its loyal customers a membership program called IGY Trident, which the partnership taps into, too. Benefitting owners, their captains, their crew, and even their management teams, IGY Trident brings together a suite of services. For instance, they include agency-support services from BWA Yachting, plus discounted fuel supply worldwide paired with carbon-offset credits. Another benefit is crew-service training by Forbes Travel Guide, well-respected for high-end hospitality training. (Forbes Travel Guide provides individual crew and the yacht with completion certificates to display and promote as well.)
Additionally, Northrop & Johnson customers can work with the Trident Concierge team. These professionals tailor itineraries and experiences for IGY-hosted events. Many of the events coincide with high-profile events themselves. For instance, the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami is one, with others including Art Basel in Miami and the Cannes Film Festival in France. IGY has a private suite for the Formula 1 race, and some Art Basel events take place at its Yacht Haven Grande marina in Miami. It further has the Vieux-Port de Cannes marina in Cannes, France.
“Everyone at Northrop & Johnson is thrilled to now be a part of this unique synergistic relationship with the only global superyacht marina network,” says Daniel Ziriakus, president and CEO.
