A French government agency involved in seizing and confiscating assets stemming from criminal activity has a superyacht available for bidding. The yacht Stefania auction will take place in Antibes on January 25.

Agrasc, which is the agency for the management and recovery of seized and confiscated assets, has ordered the judicial sale of the superyacht. According to French media reports, authorities seized Stefania, a Dynamiq GTT 135 model from 2021, during a money-laundering investigation. Notably, neither Agrasc nor other French authorities have made statements regarding the yacht. However, Italian media reported that its country’s financial police arrested the yacht on October 20 at the request of French officials while she was just outside of Genoa. Those media mentioned money laundering as well.
The all-aluminum yacht Stefania should attract bidders for several reasons. Firstly, her twin MAN engines have low usage, specifically just 200 hours. Secondly, she’s capable of quick speeds, up to 21 knots, yet also has more than adequate range for transatlantic crossings. The 134-footer (41-meter) additionally has a shallow draft, making an abundance of anchorages and islands available.

Although her master suite sits below decks, which is unusual for this size of megayacht, Stefania has good reason for that. The lowest deck offers the most comfort at anchor and while underway. Additionally, the forward portion of the main deck is instead a dining area with a fireplace. All interior areas show off a strong Art Deco décor, too, incorporating white marble floors with gold inserts. Outside, meanwhile, the 1,292-square-foot (120-square-meter) sundeck is a superb entertaining area. It has two 75-inch TVS, a bar, and a pool.
The auction house De Bacque has valued the yacht Stefania at €8 to €10 million. This is about half of what her sales listing was in 2022.

Bidding is in person at the International Yacht Club Antibes or via telephone, further with prior registration. A deposit of €500,000 is additionally required to bid.
