When Ferretti Yachts introduced the Infynito 90 yacht to open up, quite literally, new lounging options, it was the start of a new series. second model in the series, the Ferretti Yachts Infynito 80 yacht, brings those same advantages to entry-level megayacht buyers. Simultaneously, customers get special touches not found aboard the larger model.

The trademark of the Infynito series is what Ferretti Yachts calls the All-Season Terrace. It’s the covered foredeck, with louvered panels overhead within an extension of the superstructure. A cozy 140 square feet (13 square meters), it’s a way to enjoy the scenery without full sun and in more privacy. Since the series further offers buyers a lot of flexibility, the area can include a bar (below), seating, or a dining area. Regardless, each benefits from a lowering pass-through window from the galley for convenience.

“We developed the range’s second model with the aim of retaining some of this design’s unique and inimitable characteristics, while also adding new features tailored for a project of a different size,” explains Filippo Salvetti, responsible for styling. For instance, the 78-footer (23.7-meter) has an entirely open upper deck in the standard design. (The Infynito 90 has a skylounge.) Since shaded alfresco areas are a priority for the series, a hardtop does the trick for the dining area up here. This leaves the aft portion of the deck for sunning, on loose lounges, plus a grill for the dining area. Yet another switch compared to the Infynito 90, the Ferretti Yachts Infynito 80 yacht places all staterooms below decks. First-time megayacht buyers will appreciate additionally having two crew cabins for three people down below.

Yet another difference, the Ferretti Yachts Infynito 80 yacht situates the galley fully forward on the main deck. Optionally, buyers can make it more of a show kitchen with barstools within the saloon, replacing the dining area. However, the above-mentioned lowering window to the All-Season Terrace just might convince customers to keep the cooking area forward. Regardless, loose furnishings and a choice of the Contemporary (above) or Classic (beow) décor packages from Ideaeitalia let personal preferences shine through. “Both moods create a sophisticated aesthetic in functional and efficient spaces for owners who increasingly see their yacht a s anew place to live in, as if it were an extension of their home,” the design studio notes. Furthermore, both packages incorporate more sustainable material choices like repurposed leather, bamboo, water-based paints, and lamella teak (wherein layers are adhered together) with Forestry Stewardship Council certification.

Finally, Ferretti Yachts aims for more sustainable operations, too. Solar cells on the hardtop feed 14 lithium-ion batteries in the engine room, handling hotel loads. Notably, they sit within watertight steel boxes with temperature-monitoring systems. Long-range trips are possible, given an anticipated 1,000-nautical-mile range at 11 knots. The twin MAN engines should still allow a swift 23-knot top end for putting a pep in your cruising step.
