The launch basin at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, Italy has been busy the past few weeks. Three Custom Line yacht launches lowered into the water there in less than one month.
Firstly, the 19th Custom Line Navetta 30 launched (below), with her owners on hand, on April 10. With their family present, too, the owners christened her At One. The 93-foot (28.43-meter) displacement megayacht provides them all with a few alfresco areas to spend time together, including a bow lounge. Catering to the indoor-outdoor lifestyle so many cruisers like, the yacht also has a beach club. Inside, meanwhile, At One has a serene interior, including accommodations for up to 10 people. The owners worked with ACPV Architects to ensure the look and feel reflected how they like to live and entertain. It’s a blend of subdued and sunny colors, primarily white, beige, grey, and brown with pops of orange from some of the furnishings. White travertine marble adds an air of elegance to some of the three decks, too.
Next up for the Custom Line yacht launches, Queen J III (below) lowered into the water on April 24. She, too, is a Navetta series project, though a Navetta 33. In fact, she’s the 31st in that series. Similar to the owners of At One, the owners of Queen J III attended the launch with their family. Their new 108-footer (33-meter) is an entirely in-house project. In contrast to the majority of megayachts in her size range, the Custom Line Navetta 33 series has four decks. This therefore provides the owners of Queen J III with more areas for entertaining and relaxing. Guests who’ll come aboard in the next few months will see browns, burgundies, and bronzes contrast with black and lava grey amid the décor. Extra elegance comes from furnishings with white travertine marble, American walnut, and leather.
Finally, May 6 saw Our Red Sea celebrate her christening and launch with the owner and his family. She’s hull number 21 in the Custom Line 106 series, and will cruise in the Middle East upon delivery. The 108-foot (32.82-meter) superyacht cleverly plays on the natural colors of the marine environment. Specifically, at the owner’s request, Custom Line Atelier combined tones like sand, white, aquamarine, petrol (bluish-green), and blue. Creamy Taj Majal quartzite and heavily patterned Calacatta Gold marble appear as well, as does maple wood.
All three comes on the heels of the premiere of the yacht Telli, the first Custom Line Navetta 38, in Venice at a special Ferretti Group event. Further customers can see the yacht at the fall boat shows.
