Bering Yachts has earned a reputation for its series builds, but this month has also seen highly customized creation. The Bering B121 yacht that is now in the water at its Antalya, Turkey shipyard is more graceful than go-getter in her looks. Regardless, she is still every bit the bluewater cruiser as the rugged-profiled launches that have preceded her.
The only launch of her kind from the shipyard, the B121 measures 123 feet (37.43 meters) and carries an abundance of fuel, 11,280 gallons (42,700 liters) to be exact. Her capacity and her engine package make a range upwards of 5,000 nautical miles at 9 knots possible. The owner wanted an equally healthy amount of stowage to be aboard for long periods on the water, too.
Additionally, the owner wanted some spaces solely for personal use. That explains the B121 yacht having the entire forward portion of the main deck as a private area. “Entire” is not an overstatement, either. “Just imagine stepping out of the master stateroom to the owner’s deck at the bow,” explains Alexei Mikhailov, Bering Yachts’ founder. The area has a fire pit, and is for “enjoying the sea and the world around,” he adds. “This boat is all about style and finesse.”
Yet other examples of how this unfolds aboard are on the upper two decks. The 337-square-foot (31.3-square-meter) sky lounge, for instance, can convert to be a VIP suite. Important guests will particularly appreciate how it has sliding doors to two balconies, too. Furthermore, the Bering B121 yacht (the shipyard is withholding her name for now) incorporates a lounge, a dining area, a grill, a bar, and a hot tub all on the uppermost deck.
Eight guests will be able to join the owner and stay in staterooms below decks after delivery takes place. Bering says a “significant” portion of the lower deck is for these cabins, too, along with four crew cabins. Another nice feature down here is a crew mess—in addition to the main-deck galley.
Finally, thanks to the aft upper deck being the boat deck—with a crane—the Bering B121 yacht has room for a sauna and beach club below decks. Handily, a day head is off the beach club, too, for swimmers and beach-goers returning from a day of fun.
