When she begins cruising in 2027, the Dynamiq GTT 170 yacht that an unnamed owner is building is sure to delight her guests. Besides the usual luxuriously-outfitted lounges, she’ll have what’s certainly the biggest beach club in her size range. It will spread over two different levels, with a 12-person pool and a spa, too.
The Dynamiq GTT 170 yacht is the latest and largest design in Dynamiq’s Gran Turismo Transatlantic model lineup. She’s additionally the builder’s biggest megayacht to date, a 170-footer (52-meter). Like her predecessors, she features sporty styling from Dobroserdov Design, bringing in cues from the automotive sector. “Gran Turismo” hints at that, too. Further design highlights include a vertical bow, to maximize waterline length but also interior usable space. These all come together in a design and engineering package beneath the 500-gross-ton threshold.

“Transatlantic,” meanwhile, refers to more than just transatlantic capabilities. Dynamiq turned to Vripack for naval architecture to ensure the Dynamiq GTT 170 yacht is efficient throughout her speed range. The all-aluminum hull and superstructure further will meet Bureau Veritas classification requirements. As for her transatlantic range, though, the owner should be pretty pleased. The shipyard says that at 10 knots, she’ll be capable of covering 4,500 nautical miles. Even at 16 knots, she’ll be able to make crossings, since her range should be 2,700 nautical miles.
Although Dynamiq is keeping details about the interior design close to the vest, it does say that a spa, containing a sauna and a gym, is aft below decks. Overall, the decor is warm and welcoming, with wood overheads of special note. Regardless, the beach club is the stand-out feature. It should appeal equally to the owner and his family as well as charter guests on both sides of the Atlantic, too.

Notably, the project is for a client of Pierre Badin of Denison Yachting’s Monaco office. A GTT 165 in build—which started as the Dynamiq GTT 160 yacht (below)—also is for one of his customers. She’ll be ready by the middle of next year after two years of construction. “I am delighted to extend that collaboration with this new, larger project,” he says. “I was very confident and comfortable introducing this client to the shipyard.”
The keel-laying ceremony for the GTT 170 is set for this September in Turkey.

On a related subject, Dynamiq can build a sistership within 30 months for a base price of €30 million.
