Among the diverse designs it intends to offer, Italy-based Tribale Yachts currently has a super-sharp, super-fast cruiser under construction. She’s the all-carbon-fiber Essence 125 yacht, the first in a new range for day tripping, island hopping, and more.
The dramatic looks of the 125-footer (38-meter), with a 29-foot (nearly 9-meter) beam, come from Tribale Yachts and Studio Agon. NavalHEAD International has developed the engineering and hull form, promising a 45-knot cruise and 55-knot top speed. These speeds can come from either triple or quadruple MAN engines (further 125s are available to build). Notably, Tribale Yachts additionally can equip future versions with a diesel-electric MAN package, allowing batteries to handle not only hotel loads but also some cruising.
Just as clients have choices for propulsion, so, too, do they have choices for the layout. Three to five staterooms are possible, for example. So is a meeting room/office substituting for a cabin in the three- and four-stateroom configurations. Since the Essence 125 yacht is really all about living outside, though, multiple arrangements make the aft deck and flying bridge suit different customers’ needs. The first hull, for example, has a pool prominently nestled into the aft deck. Fold-down bulwarks create more usable space by it, while a transformer swim platform makes slipping into the sea easier. Rather than a pool, future buyers can have an open-air beach club, and/or toy-stowage area. A few steps forward of here, meanwhile, family and friends can gather together for meals. Sun awnings can cover all of these areas, too, when wanted.
Yet more choice awaits aboard the Essence 125 yacht. Although a helm for the flying bridge is optional, it’s easy to imagine most captains—and even owners—wanting it. It’s a prime driving spot, and it allows owners and guests to chat more with the captain about the surrounding waters, for instance, or the yacht’s handling. Regardless, there remains plenty of space for sunpads. Finally, Tribale Yachts can arrange the foredeck as a tender garage, a big stowage spot, or a lounge with or without a hot tub.
As mentioned, the yacht is the first in a new range. Specifically, Tribale Yachts has plans for four more models, each different in size. The next it plans to reveal is a 78-footer (24-meter).
