Private yachts and charter yachts all over the globe have FunAir’s inflatable accessories onboard. If you’re a fan of its slides, rock-climbing walls, and more, the Splash Dome and Splash Tower are new must-haves.
FunAir’s Splash Dome sounds exactly like what it is, a rounded inflatable for climbing and then splashing into the water. Handholds spread across the full structure so that guests of all ages can safety get to the top. Additionally, guests can approach from different angles, which therefore provide different challenges. Once up top, it’s simply a matter of leaping off into the sea. Note, too, that the Splash Dome can come with climbing holds on one half and a slide on the other. In that case, your guests can shoot down the slide into the water.
The Splash Dome, once inflated, is six feet (1.85 meters) high and nearly 11 feet (3.3 meters) wide. Conveniently, it packs down to 3.3’ x 2.6’ x 1.1’ (100 x 80 x 35 centimeters).
Meanwhile, the Splash Tower is similarly compact when deflated, 3.6’ x 1.6’ x 1.6’ (110 x 50 x 50 centimeters). It’s higher than the Splash Dome, however, at just over eight feet (2.5 meters). With abundant non-slip surfaces, the tower invites guests to climb over and over again. In keeping with FunAir’s focus on flexible arrangements, the Splash Tower can accommodate a slide. You’ll need about 15 feet (4.5 meters) of clear space for the full setup. Without the slide, though, you’ll need a little less than 13 feet (3.9 meters).
Whether the Splash Dome or Splash Tower appeals, they share certain features. Each has trampoline-style netting across the entire bottom, for instance. It should hold up to repeated use as a sit-in splash section or general gathering spot. (Certainly, some guests will need to take a break after jumping and climbing repeatedly. The netting therefore is more convenient than having to return to the yacht.) Furthermore, the area lets everyone stay cool, in the shade. Lastly, both the Splash Dome and the Splash Tower can connect via FunAir’s Water Mats to create a super-fun, super-private water park.
You and your crew can see these in person at the Monaco Yacht Show. FunAir will have them in the water at the Captains and Crew Lounge on Quai Louis II. It’s directly in front of the Monaco Yacht Club. Several further inflatables and accessories will be there, too.
