In a little more than six months, the owner of the first DOM 115 yacht will enjoy a maiden voyage. The united steel hull and aluminum superstructure transferred to a shed at Baglietto’s yard in Carrara, Italy days ago. There, she’s steadily gaining her full systems and her interior in preparation for her launch ceremony and ultimately delivery.
The idea behind the series is to provide intimate cruising enjoyment. “We embarked upon this project to meet many requests from clients who had appreciated the core strengths of the DOM 133, but were looking for a smaller yacht,” explains Fabio Ermetto, Baglietto’s CCO. LOA therefore is 115 feet (35 meters). Since journeys are a priority, the DOM 115 yacht has a displacement hull, pledging a cruising speed of 13½ knots. Even at her top speed just shy of 15 knots, the megayacht can cover the entire U.S. eastern seaboard and other long distances.
Enjoying the views of those coastlines while inside is equally important. To that end, Studio Vafiadis, responsible for styling and interior design, specified big windows on the main and upper decks. In fact, they slide open on three sides on the upper deck. Transforming the cozy lounge inside into an indoor-outdoor room held great appeal to the owner. It should hold just as much appeal for future customers of the DOM 115 yacht series, too.

Baglietto still is not releasing many details about the configuration or décor. For now, though, the shipyard says the DOM 115 yacht can accommodate 10 people in five staterooms. Should an owner wish, one or two of the cabins additionally can have a pullman berth.
Despite the few facts, some of the suggested layout features might lend insight. Renderings on Baglietto’s website show a light and airy décor, for example. They further reveal alfresco dining on the topmost deck and upper deck, the latter forming the indoor-outdoor lounge just mentioned. A pool on the main aft deck is part of a multi-level, all-day relaxation area flowing down to the swim platform. Since the tender stows in a side garage, it keeps this deck space fully dedicated to the owner and guests.
While the Baglietto craftspeople finish this project for her owner, they’re simultaneously readying another for purchase. That yacht should be available for cruising come March 2026.
