Space is always at a premium aboard a private yacht. Something no one wants to compromise on, of course, is safety. RoamM Boats created the new Roam 400 SOLAS rescue tender for those of you with limited stowage.
With an LOA of 13 feet (4 meters), the RIB complies with international regulations for man-overboard rescue operations. A 15- to 20-hp outboard engine further means the RIB is easily manageable, simultaneously capable of getting to a person in distress quickly. Additionally, the crewmember driving it can coordinate with deployed liferafts.
Roam Boats launched as its own brand in 2022, owned by Superyacht Tenders & Toys. The latter drew inspiration from the variety of fun watercraft it sourced and designed for customers since 2011. Roam Boats therefore has focused particularly on open tenders and landing craft for clients who love playing all day. However, the management team realized an opportunity existed to provide products that can simultaneously handle safety. After all, several smaller megayachts have rescue tenders that do double duty as guest or crew tenders.
Therefore, the ROAM 400 SOLAS can take on several everyday situations. For example, crewmembers can use it to bring provisions from shore out to the yacht at anchor. Crew can use the RIB for maintenance tasks, too. Yet another option is to use the RIB as a guest boat. Therefore, ROAM Boats offers customizable benchseating. It further offers Seadek flooring, slip-resistant soles material that can match the main yacht, too. Finally, chocks, a trailer, and other gear are available for on-deck or in-garage stowage convenience.
RIBs are currently in stock, for quick delivery.
