Why reveal one design concept when you can showcase a range of exterior and interior styles to suit wide-ranging preferences? Dynamiq’s “Five Senses, Five Superyachts” brings together the work of three design studios, all of which the builder invited to usher in new ideas. The collection includes yacht concepts spanning sizes from 135 to 180 feet (41 to 55 meters). Specifically, it includes four interior-design proposals and one exterior-styling proposal.

Dynamiq GTT 135 Yacht Interiors, by Mark Berryman Design
Mark Berryman of Mark Berryman Design (top left) lends earthy tones and a tactile experience to the GTT 135 series, This all-aluminum, swift cruiser, which has seen the likes of the yacht Stefania hit the water, appeals to island-hopping enthusiasts. In fact, she’s for families and groups of friends who love cruising amid the Greek islands as much as the Bahamas. For tactile appeal, Berryman covers some walls with woven seagrass. Simultaneously, honed stone underfoot is smooth and cool. Other walls show off natural oak, while cabinetry comes from other wood veneers in their natural pale tones. Special touches like textured linens and river-stone-clad surfaces appear in the saloon, with bamboo-like accents appearing in the master suite.

Dynamiq Global 450 Yacht Interiors, by Mark Berryman Design
The Global series is Dynamiq’s explorer-yacht series, originating in 2019 with the Dynamiq Global 330. A new model, the 148-foot (45-meter) Global 450 yacht benefits from Berryman’s handiwork, too. Quite different-looking from the GTT 135 interior concept he penned, this one reflects broader use of calming colors. Yet, you’ll still find natural materials in abundance, such as woven bamboo, light oak paneling, and hand-finished stone. Leather and further soft-to-the-touch natural fabrics blend in as well. The owners’ suite, which includes an office, is a good example. Bleached oak covers cabinetry in the sleeping area, with richer wood veneers and stainless steel accents lending appeal in the office. Furthermore, seating that folds out from the wall in the office adds flexibility.

For his third contribution to Dynamiq’s “Five Senses, Five Superyachts,” Berryman continues prioritizing woods, marbles, leathers, and more natural goods. The Dynamiq Global 550 yacht has her own personality thanks to layered details, creating an air of elegance while remaining practical in comfort. Smoked oak, seagrass, and marble are the foundational elements of the full design for this 180-footer (55-meter). From room to room, woven fabrics on furnishings and hand-finished woods help create the mood. Of course, the master bath is an oasis, with lots of marble. The office, meanwhile, has its own stylish allure from brushed bronze accents.

Dynamiq GST 450 Yacht, by Sturge & Toth
Dynamiq’s “Five Senses, Five Superyachts” marks the first time that the five-year-old studio Sturge & Toth is working with the shipyard. Ben-Julian Toth (second from left at top) and Toby Sturge (second from right) are the founders. Dynamiq invited them to inaugurate the GST series, starting with the GST 450 yacht, a 148-footer (45-meter). The shipyard and designers envision the owners as a family attracted to Dynamiq’s experience with swift performers. At the same time, though, the owners seek an air of enduring sophistication. This explains why the GST 450 yacht creates areas for everyone to enjoy the biggest benefits of yachting wrapped in modern luxuries. For example, the bow lounge isn’t just for sunning or cocktails. Instead, it’s an observation lounge, for spotting whales and more. Fully aft, meanwhile, a pool converts for more deck space. Plus, the owners have two balconies off their suite.

Dynamiq GTT 180 Heritage Yacht Interior, by H2 Yacht Design
Finally, the 180-foot (55-meter) Dynamiq GTT 180 Heritage yacht series bears both bold and time-honored details. This is the work of H2 Yacht Design, led by Gianluca Sist (middle at top) and with Americans in mind. The all-aluminum megayacht adheres to quiet luxury. Overall, the décor creates calm with a soft color palette yet fully embraces rich details. Agate with gold inlay, Calacatta gold marble, and shagreen leather all accentuate light oak, creamy fabrics, and textured carpeting. Bronze and woods with somewhat prominent grains add details, reminiscent of luxury autos. Well-known U.S. brands like Baker, Holly Hunt, and Thomas Pheasant appear throughout, too. As beautiful as the saloon’s bar is, the GTT 180 Heritage’s master suite layers onyx, Macassar ebony, woven leather, and lacquered finishes in wave forms.
Of course, Sergey Dobroserdov (far right at top) of the Dynamiq team and the designers will tailor each of these projects to clients’ personal tastes. Each of the five superyachts is capable of construction as well, at Dynamiq’s shipyard in Turkey.
