Yacht Ricacha Too Reaps Rich Rewards as a Custom Line Navetta 33

An owner who enjoys entertaining watched on in August as Custom Line lowered a remarkable hull into the water. The yacht Ricacha Too is extra noteworthy for being hull number 32 in the brand’s Navetta 33 displacement series.

Having taken delivery of yet another Custom Line Navetta 33 in 2021, plus prior yachts, the owner is well versed in the cruising lifestyle and the brand. Fittingly, along with the owner and the owner’s family, all of the yard employees and subcontractors attended the ceremony.

Custom Line Navetta 33 yacht Ricacha Too launch

The sporty-looking 108-footer (33-meter), with a 25-foot (7.52-meter) beam, accommodates 10 people. Particularly important to the owner, the yacht Ricacha Too needed to provide family and friends with multiple areas where they could all gather together. So, for instance, Custom Line Atelier created coffee tables that can open up to become dining tables. These tables are both out on deck and inside. Some spaces allow family members to spend significant parts of the day, too, without having to head elsewhere for lunch or a snack. The foredeck of the yacht Ricacha Too is a good example, with an oversize sunpad complementing a U-shape settee and table.

Throughout the interiors, color and pattern contrasts lend visual interest, but don’t distract from the views of the great outdoors. The owner deliberately chose subdued hues like white and grey and even muted bronze, as well deeper tones like dark brown and lava grey. The paler colors are prominent, with the richer ones calling attention to special details. Particularly notable, ribbed columns near each stateroom’s headboard are in the darker tones. Additionally, striking marbles like creamy Taj Mahal and veined Essential Gray, along with Canadian maple and leather, appear as paneling and on furnishings.

Although Custom Line hasn’t disclosed sea trial results, generally speaking the Custom Line Navetta 33 has a best range close to 2,000 nautical miles. The yacht Ricacha Too further should top out at 15 knots.

In related news, Custom Line celebrated three more launches in three more series between September and October. Firstly, hull number 21 of the Custom Line Navetta 30 series splashed on September 10. The trideck 93-footer (28.43-meter) bears styling by Filippo Salvetti and interiors by ACPV Architects. Custom Line’s own Custom Line Atelier contributed to the interiors, too. Custom furnishings are throughout the yacht, where a classic-contemporary mood sets the backdrop. Suitably sea-oriented colors like ultramarine blue are prominent. Notably, some unusual décor materials, like carbon fiber and quartz powder lending textured looks and feels to fiberglass, feature throughout as well.

Secondly, the fifth Custom Line 140 yacht launched on September 25. The owner worked with Custom Line Atelier to create spaces that are soothing and invigorating, some simultaneously. For example, cool, subdued marbles like Invisible Grey and Azul Cielo contrast with a more vibrant blue marble in the staterooms’ en suite baths. More pale greys and butter tones pair with sapphire and petrol shades in the staterooms. Teak, leather, eco-leather, metallic paint (akin to sporty cars’ looks), and metal mesh appear throughout as well.

Lastly, October 10 was the day the 23^rd Custom Line 106 lowered into the water. Notably, the launch was the 15^th of the year overall for Custom Line. Some intricate woodwork characterizes her interior, such as ribbed American walnut laid asymmetrically on a feature wall in the main saloon. Further ribbed American walnut paneling alternates with sand-hued lacquered panels in the master suite. Rich Travertino Bronze marble and pale Silk Georgette marble are prominent there, too. Overall, varying shades of warm beiges, bronzes, and browns create a unified look and feel aboard.
