Yacht Pufferfish Closes Record Year for Custom Line

Twelve days before the end of 2023, Custom Line splashed its very last project of the year. The yacht Pufferfish was the shipyard’s launch number 21, in fact, of the 12-month period.

A Custom Line Navetta 33, the yacht lowered into the water in front of a big crowd. All of the shipyard employees who contributed to her design and build, for example, were on hand. So, too, were subcontractors. Of course, the owners were present as well.

Like her predecessors in the Custom Line range, the yacht Pufferfish bears styling by the Ferretti Group Strategic Product Committee. At 108 feet (33 meters) LOA, she has accommodations for 10. Those staterooms, as well as the lounges, are quite colorful. Specifically, the owners chose vibrant pinks, blues, and orange to highlight the furnishings and other parts of the décor. All of the pieces are custom made, too. Neutral grey, meanwhile, much like the color found on the outside of the yacht, serves as a backdrop.

The launch of the yacht Pufferfish didn’t just close out a big year. It closed out a big month for Custom Line. Just three weeks prior, for instance, the 20^th Custom Line 106 hit the water. The owner, from the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), worked closely with the Custom Line Atelier division for the interior. Wood with a silk-grey tone combines with colors like white, pearl, bronze, and anthracite. They in turn complement materials like leather as well as dark-veined marble.

Furthermore, the launch followed the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new operational headquarters of the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, Italy. All Custom Line model construction has taken place at this facility for several years. So, too, has CRN construction. The site now devotes much of its space to offices for project managers, project architects, and other strategic support staff. Simultaneously, it has an elegant reception area for clients.
