Just within the past few weeks, Benetti delivered the 164-foot Alibella, the latest in a successful series of similar-size megayachts.
Benetti likes to describe her as an East-meets-West yacht, with a mixture of Western and Asian decor influences. As you can see in the interior images here, ivory is a dominant color, from the carpeting to the lacquered walls and ceiling. Gold tones are used liberally as well, through gold leafing and metal inserts in furnishings. The goal was to create a peaceful, relaxing, bright atmosphere. (On a side note, it’s interesting to see this yacht continues a trend I’ve noted over the past two or three years among European builders and owners: making a decided break from using wood paneling.)
While few details have been released so far, I do know that the owner’s stateroom is forward on the main deck, as is common on megayachts of all sizes these days. There’s also a study near the suite, with an extra study on the upper deck that can be converted into a second lounge solely for the owner’s use. Four guest staterooms are on the lower deck, and aft of the sunbathing area on the sundeck is a helipad.
Equipped with wakeboards, water skis, towables, and other watertoys, Alibella is available for charter, with weekly rates ranging from $259,000 (low season) to $280,000 (high season). If you’d like to see her in person, she’s making her boat-show debut in Cannes in early September and then heading to the Monaco Yacht Show.
