The digitally altered images here give you a good idea of what the 131-foot Allogante will look like when Alloy Yachts completes her early next year. And even better, she could be yours, as she’s for sale.
If you’re familiar with the handful of motoryachts that Alloy has delivered over the years, you’ll recognize similarity to Ad Lib, launched in 2005 (and nominated for an International Superyacht Society award that year). Both come from the drawing boards of Dubois Naval Architects, though Allogante has the advantage of newer technology and has sleeker styling.
Inside, Donald Starkey Designs is combining macassar ebony, sycamore, zebrano, and European olive woods for dramatic effect. The owner’s suite is on the main deck, while four guest staterooms–one of which is outfitted as a gym but can be converted back–are all below decks. Each stateroom’s en suite head features distinctive marble work to set it apart.
Intended for transoceanic cruising, Allogante should achieve what Alloy calls “a sprint speed” of 16.5 knots and a range of about 4,000 nautical miles, thanks to twin 1,400-hp Caterpillars and more than 9,000 gallons of fuel.
