Hull #632 is on the books at Sunrise Yachts, a 207-foot (63.1-meter) megayacht commissioned by a European owner.
The image here is of a same-length superyacht project that was used as the basis of Hull #632. (No images are yet available for the new yacht.) Like the one shown, Hull #632 bears naval architecture by the builder and Espen Øino International. She’ll feature a steel, full-displacement hull and aluminum superstructure. Even with draft at about 11’5” (3.5 meters), the yacht will be able to dock at many marinas.
Of course, Hull #632 will also be engineered for long-range cruising. The megayacht should see a 4,500-nautical-mile range at cruise speed. That should be slightly slower than her 17-knot (half-load) top speed. Power comes from twin MTU 12V 4000 M63 diesels.
A crew of 18 and 12 people in the owner’s party will be accommodated. The 1,4000-gross-registered-tons yacht will be quite voluminous, one of the largest constructed in Turkey. Beam will be 39 feet (12 meters), so all of this should translate to spacious relaxation and entertaining areas. Specifics on the layout are not yet available for publicity, but Focus Yacht Design will be working with the owner on decor and arrangements.
Sunrise Yachts anticipates Hull #632 to take 28 months to complete. Therefore, anticipate seeing her delivered in late summer 2014. She’ll be classed to Bureau Veritas and be MCA compliant.
