The megayacht marina at the private island community of Christophe Harbour has an enticing offer. You can receive three nights’ complimentary dockage at The Marina at Christophe Harbour ahead of its January opening.
Megayachts measuring 98 to 295 feet (30 to 90 meters, respectively) are eligible for the deal at the St. Kitts locale. The package further includes access to the waterfront bar, SALT Plage (pictured). The pier just a few steps away from SALT Plage is ideal for boarding your tender should you have plans to explore the waters surrounding the island a bit more.
The Marina at Christophe Harbour will have 24 berths available in January. Already, a few yachts have paid visits, even while work continues. Ultimately, over the next few years, 300 berths will accommodate megayachts. Maximum draft is 18’4” (5.6 meters), so power and sailing yachts alike can access the turning basin and slips. Also welcome is the fact that a customs and immigration office is on site. Another plus: No import duties on fuel sales.
For those of you who frequent the Caribbean, note that berths are available for purchase, on a freehold vs. leasehold basis. Berth ownership at The Marina at Christophe Harbour grants membership in the Christophe Harbour Club and access to upcoming resort amenities like golf. It also grants citizenship without a residency requirement.
The Marina at Christophe Harbour, and the overall community development, are the brainchild of an experienced developer and megayacht owner. He’s Charles Pinckney “Buddy” Darby III, the owner of the 154-foot (47-meter) Perini Navi Andromeda la Dea.
