More than a decade after she was introduced, the Westport 112 series is still attracting buyers. In fact, hull #54, recently launched, was bought by a client who had already owned a 112 from the Washington State yard.
Westport works with each client to allow some customized amenities and decor items. It has not revealed what tailored touches were incorporated onto hull #54. Alex Rogers, Westport’s director of sales, does characterize them as being “numerous,” however.
The Westport 112 is a raised-pilothouse configuration, the “smallest” megayacht among its series-built boats. (The remaining models are the Westport 130, Westport 164, and newly added Westport 125.) Beam is 23’9” (7.2 meters), with accommodations for eight in the owner’s party. A cruise of 22 knots puts plenty of ports within reach, as does the best-cruise range of 2,500 nautical miles at 12 knots, under MTU power.
