Another Italian shipyard has its sights more firmly set on the American and Canadian markets. It’s Dreamline Yachts, and the builder has an exclusive deal with Intermarine Yacht Group for representation here.
Intermarine Yacht Group has offices in three locations in Florida, including Fort Lauderdale. It was established 20 years ago. The company will be Dreamline Yachts’ sales agent, plus its after-sales and support agent.
“The decision to enter the American market is the result of an increasing interest in our product line coming from the U.S. and Canada,” says Paolo Bencivenni, CEO of Dreamline Yachts. Intermarine Yacht Group has seen the rise in curiosity, too. In a statement, its partners, Luc Thibault and Patrick Galipeau, say, “We already have strong interest in the Dreamline Yachts product line being expressed by a number of our loyal clients.” The duo visited the Italian yard and were impressed by the facility, and semi-custom approach.
For background, the first Dreamline launch occurred just two years ago. This was the Dreamline 26 model. The rest of the megayacht models offered are the Dreamline 30, Dreamline 34, Dreamline 40, Dreamline 46, and Dreamline 49. A few orders have been secured for the 26, 30, and 34. All of those are built of fiberglass. The larger three models can be built of fiberglass or aluminum. The builder plans to add more models, too, though for now is not revealing details.
