The latest tender to join the Invictus Yacht lineup is the 200FX, whose 20-foot (6.1-meter) length packs in high style and high-end accessories. And it’s available at a base price of just over €16,000 (about $17,100 at press time).
Invictus Yacht, a relative newcomer to the market, established itself to bring more flair to tenders by designing them with Christian Grande DesignWorks. The design studio specializes in megayacht interiors. Christian Grande himself characterizes the 200FX as “a little jewel.” “I wanted to design a little jewel, where the stylistic elements of larger yachts are to be found on a smaller boat,” he explains.
You’ll see what he means by taking note of the use of leather. Some open-style tenders in this size range use manmade materials. Aboard the 200FX, leather spans the dashboard and continues on to cover the backrest of the nearby settee. Grande carries the blue color scheme throughout the boat, too, if you so wish. (Called Blue Whale, the tone isn’t the only one available. Invictus Yachts also offers Dark Shadow, which is black, and Personal White, which is self-explanatory.)
Another nice—and big-boat—touch is the bimini. When not in use, it retracts and disappears completely within the upholstery, keeping the 200FX’s lines clean.
Six people can climb aboard the 200FX for trips to shore, or spins around the harbor. Those spins should be sporty, too. Invictus Yachts says the tender is capable of a 36-knot top speed. Furthermore, the boat reportedly cruises comfortably at 20 knots.
