In about a year, a South American owner will have the real versions of these rooms to enjoy. Baglietto Hull 10233, whose name remains confidential, will also show off some other special areas. Altogether, they’re enhancements to the Baglietto 48M T-Line.
Started on spec, and acquired by this owner last December, the megayacht is a sistership to Andiamo and Silver Fox. She therefore features styling by Francesco Paszkowski Design, with a combination of both traditional (the “T” in “T-Line”) and contemporary looks. This 156-foot (47.6-meter) steel-hulled yacht additionally prioritizes leisurely travel, with an expected 12-knot cruising speed under MTU power. However, the owner came into the project early enough to make some changes.
For instance, the upper deck of Baglietto Hull 10233 has more enclosed space than either Andiamo or Silver Fox. The owner wanted an indoor-outdoor dining area, so the aft wall is farther out. Plus, it’s semi-circular glass, which in combination with full-height glass to each side makes for a beautifully bright room for 12.
Yet another special request by the owner: two super-size staterooms for guests that can convert into four staterooms. Sliding walls make it possible. A glass elevator, a further request, makes it easy to wake up in the morning and head up to the sundeck to catch the sunrise. Since the owner and guests will likely spend a lot of time outside, the 1,507-square-foot (140-square-meter) sundeck also has a pool and sunbeds, in proximity to a coffee bar and dining spot for lunch. The chef’s job becomes easier here thanks to a barbecue, refrigerator, and dumbwaiter to the galley.
Through the entire interior, Baglietto Hull 10233 makes use of oak paneling and soles, with glossy dark-wood accents. The owner and the shipyard’s own interiors department are executing his vision. It additionally includes bronzed inserts accentuate doors and furnishings. Naturally warm, subdued tones like brown, bronze, and ochre complement soft shapes as well.
Delivery is set for next summer.
