November 11 may have seen grey skies over the Sunseeker shipyard, but the mood was vibrant. Hull number one of the Sunseeker 90 Ocean left her construction shed, preparing for her formal launch and completion.
Part of the Ocean Club series, the 90 Ocean gets her name from a healthy-size leisure area that forms when the transom folds down. In fact, it’s four times the usual aft space. Specifically, it includes what Sunseeker calls the X-Tend sunbeds and seating. These slide out electrically and lay flat for serving sunworshippers as chaise lounges. They also can tilt up at the outermost end like seats, facing the main aft deck, to keep everyone in conversation with one another. Finally, joining the X-Tend sunbeds, you’ll find a barbecue and a rain shower. It’s therefore a play-and-stay-all-day area.
You can play and stay all day on the Sunseeker 90 Ocean’s flying bridge, too. Enjoy lunch, for example, thanks to a barbecue and a bar, along with a dining area. Soak in the optional infinity hot tub pre- or post-lunch. It’s especially suited as a nighttime area, too, because you can opt for a stow-away movie screen and projector.
Retire to your full-beam master suite while up to six guests head to their three cabins. (Optionally, the 90 Ocean has five total staterooms, though you end up losing the full-beam layout for your suite.) Then, in the morning, start the enjoyment all over again.
Hull number one of the Sunseeker 90 Ocean will be complete and ready for delivery in January 2021.
