Sold toward the end of last year, the semi-custom B107 from Bering Yachts recently celebrated her keel-laying ceremony. This should allow the owner to begin cruising toward the end of next year.
The megayacht, whose LOA is actually 108 feet (33 meters), is the latest in the builder’s long-range cruiser lineup, a.k.a. its Exploration Yachts. As such, the B107 should be capable of a range upwards of 4,000 nautical miles while cruising at 9 knots, under Cummins power. She should also have about 8,321 gallons (31,500 liters) of fuel aboard.
Bering Yachts’ B107, with a steel hull, is an entirely in-house-designed project. Styling-wise, she bears similar lines to some of her larger and smaller sisters in the series. The shipyard chose a plumb bow and vertical wheelhouse ports to convey her serious travel intentions. Softer, curvier superstructure features, meanwhile, convey her leisure purpose.
Since she’s a semi-custom design, the B107 will have interior areas suiting a family. Interestingly, she has two master suites. One, for instance, sits where you would expect to find it, forward on the main deck. Also, the side-deck stairs rise up over it, therefore letting it span the 24’8” (7.55-meter) beam. It additionally has a door leading out to the hot tub nestled on the foredeck. Privacy while out here comes thanks to the high bow. The other master suite, meanwhile, sits just aft of the wheelhouse. It has private alfresco space, too. The rest of the family gets accommodations below decks, in three cabins.
Further interesting to note, Bering Yachts is creating this B107 with four different dining areas. Besides the traditional interior and alfresco main-deck areas, you’ll find one forward on the upper deck and one on the flying bridge. The latter has a bar as well. Finally, everyone can relax pre- or post-dinner in a sauna.
Featuring three crew cabins and a captain’s cabin, the yacht should see delivery in October 22.
The B107 is one of seven yachts in build at Bering’s shipyard in Antalya, Turkey. They include the B92, which should see delivery later this year.
