Turkey-based Numarine is a few short months from launching its newest explorer series. Three hulls in the new Numarine 37XP series are in build, in fact, with number one coming this summer.
The XP lineup initiated several years ago. It includes smaller and larger models, including the 32XP, for instance. In fact, that particular project led to this new yacht. “We wanted to offer a bigger model than the 32XP, since some clients loved her volume,” says Omer Malaz, Numarine’s chairman and founder. He adds that the ongoing desire to enjoy the freedom of the ocean and solitude, especially these days, further convinced the team to add the 37XP.
Measuring 121’7” (37.1 meters), with a 26’2’ (8-meter) beam, this latest model shares the XP family looks. This means styling by Can Yalman, underpinned by naval architecture from Umberto Tagliavini. Even with the angular profile, though, the megayacht still looks very much like a pleasure cruiser. Note especially the good use of tall windows, which Numarine says is even more liberal than compared to previous projects.
That should lend itself well to a light, bright interior. Hot Lab is collaborating once again with the shipyard for the first hull. The two paired up for the first time with the 32XP. From the main-deck master suite (top) to five staterooms below, the yacht can accommodate 12 people. Interestingly, one of those five cabins on the first Numarine 37XP is for a nanny. Additionally, the yacht has a beach club, along with roomy alfresco areas. The flying bridge, for instance, encompasses 861 square feet (80 square meters), stretching 33 feet (10 meters) long.
With a draft of 12’8” (3.9 meters), the Numarine 37XP prioritizes long voyages. The shipyard anticipates a notable range of 6,000 nautical miles at 8 knots, in fact. Classed to RINA unrestricted navigation, the megayacht should further see a top end of 14 knots with twin 900-hp MANs.
