Many a yacht owner considers yachting to be a version of paradise. Judging from the name of the latest delivery from Maiora, Eden, yet another owner agrees.
This Maiora 30 Walkaround model features full side decks plus a flying bridge with access directly to the raised bow (the “Walkaround” aspect). The flying bridge certainly will be where the owner and guests spend much of their time, too. It measures more than 1,292 square feet (120 square meters), with plenty of space therefore for sunning, dining, or happy hour cocktails. Additionally, Eden is the first Maiora 30 Walkaround with a custom hot tub here. It’s teak and glass, for an infinity effect.
The 100-foot-long (30.5-meter-long) Eden also has other noteworthy features. For instance, her bow has a tender garage to one side. Not only is it upwards of 6’6” (2 meters) in height, but also it holds a tender exceeding 20 feet (6 meters) long. Further watertoys stow in there as well. Typically megayachts of her size don’t carry sizable tenders like this. Yet another nice feature is the transom leisure area. The semi-custom Maiora 30 Walkaround comes with a settee against the transom, at the swim platform. This way, it suits those who’d rather watch their friends and family enjoy swimming or watertoys. Or, it’s a good place to take a break between multiple dives off the swim platform.
Although Next Yacht Group, Maiora’s parent company, hasn’t revealed the interior design for Eden, generally speaking the master suite is on the main deck. Four guest staterooms go below decks, too. Customers are free to choose how to arrange furnishings amid the 24’6” (7.5 meters) beam.
Expect Eden to book charters soon in the Med, where her owner is already enjoying his inaugural season onboard. The megayacht will make quick work of harbor hopping for guests, with a reported top speed of 23 knots with traditional diesel engines.
