Just two months ago, Lucy, the fourth Tecnomar EVO 120, saw delivery. The all-aluminum cruiser, which is also for sale, shows just how far clients can customize the semi-custom superyacht series.

In announcing hull number one in 2018, The Italian Sea Group emphasized the trideck’s strong, sporty, automotive-influenced style. The 120-footer (36.6-meter) certainly has sleek overall looks and sinuous lines. Yet, she embodies the lap of luxury throughout her decks. The owner of Lucy, for instance, enhances the feel of the already-ample 26-foot (8-meter) beam with backlit onyx plus pale fabrics and wood. Note, too, the curvy character of the custom furnishings, slight nods to the exterior styling. The Italian Sea Group worked with Italian furniture makers on behalf of the owner. Such a posh setting is a nice alternative to the beachy-chic decors so many superyachts, especially this size, gravitate towards.

Even with this ambience, though, Lucy still suits harbor hopping or staying at anchor for enjoying the sun. The main aft deck (below) especially suits a day at anchor. From the large sunpad aft to the adjacent dining area and then the bar farther forward, guests may not want to leave the area. For pure sun worshipping, meanwhile, the foredeck beckons. Up top, the sundeck has an infinity pool.

Guests can move around Lucy without interfering with the captain’s and crew’s abilities to do their jobs. For example, the wheelhouse is full beam forward on the sundeck. Guests can use stairs to flow between the hot tub and the main aft deck. Side decks allow crew to handle fenders or guests to venture to or from the bow sunpads. And, of course, guests and crew get separate passageways inside.

Speaking of inside, the owner of Lucy did something unexpected. Typically, superyachts like the Tecnomar EVO 120 have four, perhaps even five, staterooms. Here, however, you’ll find just three staterooms. The full-beam master, with a lounge area, plus a VIP and a twin stateroom each sit below decks. In place of a fourth cabin, the owner chose a massage room with an adjacent sauna.

Lucy, with a reported 20-knot max speed, is listed at €15.6 million, with her full two-year warranty.
