Want to play basketball on your yacht but don’t have enough space? You do now. Superyacht Tenders & Toys’ Superyacht Inflatables division is custom-making inflatable games decks. Your inner Michael Jordan will be thrilled.
In fact, your inner Wayne Gretzky will be thrilled, too. It’s because the games decks can come in any shape, size, and configuration for essentially any sport. You can have four “walls” for most court-oriented sports, for instance, or integral inflatable goals at each end for hockey. The inflatable games decks can come as single units or as separate panels for changeable configurations. Regardless, the made-to-order decks have zip doors, neatly blending into the overall design, allowing guests to enter and exit at either end.

Superyacht Inflatables uses netting all around to keep players safely inside, along with D-loop tie points and straps. The court surface, meanwhile, is a stitched material for both safety and firmness. All of the electric pumps needed for setting things up come with the full kit, as do stowage bags and repair supplies.
Previously, dedicated basketball courts have only been aboard super-size superyachts, like the 230-foot (70-meter) Joy and the 288-foot (87.78-meter) Fountainhead. A 151-footer (46-meter) at the Monaco Grand Prix last month showed off the first of the inflatable games decks. It specifically met the charter client’s desire to enjoy basketball. Jonny Dodge, the CEO of brokerage company My Ocean, commissioned it for the client, in fact. “I approached Superyacht Tenders & Toys because I wanted to offer something unusual for the Grand Prix,” he says. “The Superyacht Tenders & Toys team fully understands guest expectations and crew practicalities. They always go the extra mile, often making the impossible possible!”

Pricing is available upon request. Superyacht Tenders & Toys says it can produce the inflatable games decks in just 20 days after ordering.
