The second hull in the Bilgin 163 series, the yacht Project AME has been under contract since April of this year. Now, we’re getting the first looks into just how the owners and their guests will live aboard.
Like hull number one, the megayacht has both naval architecture and exterior styling by Unique Yacht Design. The studio gave the 164-footer (49.95-meter) a vertical bow and sporty flair amid her four decks. Additionally, the studio engineered her for transatlantic crossings. Twin Caterpillar engines should permit a maximum 17-knot speed, too.

Just like hull number one, the yacht Project AME has interior design by Hot Lab. The build and design teams gathered with FGI Yacht Group broker Frank Grzeszczak, Jr., the owners’ rep, in Milan to finalize the details. They especially spent a good deal of time discussing and finessing the interior details seen here. Essentially, the owners wanted a combination of timeless grace and sophistication with modern appeal. Simultaneously, though, it was important for the decks to look elegant without being over the top.
From the main saloon to the six staterooms, the yacht Project AME reflects just a handful of natural tones. Specifically, Hot Lab and the owners selected sand, cream, off-white, and a light gray. The colors appear in textiles, finishes, and more. Additionally, the décor shows off some intriguing details, such as chromed stainless steel, metal-mesh laminated glass, and mirrored surfaces. Furthermore, a mosaic of wood and stone characterize some of the floors. Essentially, the guiding principle is to catch guests’ attention and gradually reveal more as they take a closer look.

Some of the stand-out areas aboard Project AME are the master suite, of course, with treasured art pieces in its office, too. The sleeping area has mirrored and sueded organic shapes overhead and on walls as well. More curves carry through the saloons, as does a combination of laminated glass and metal mesh. The blending of those materials, according to the designers, will make rooms seem larger. Dark mirrors, meanwhile, in other areas lend the illusion of infinity walls, also to make areas seem larger. Finally, guests will love the beach club, with an ice fountain, a bar, a sauna, and a welcoming lounge.
Delivery of this RINA-classed superyacht should take place in May 2024. “Bilgin was the perfect match for my client, who required considerable flexibility and freedom to make changes to an already in-build project,” Grzeszczak says. “Once the yacht is delivered, the owner will have opportunities to create unique memories with family and friends.”
