April in Poland is quite cool in comparison to the sunny shores that the yacht Extra Time is about to start visiting. Gdansk-based Conrad Shipyard feted the yacht the third weekend of this month.
For the celebration, which was her christening, Conrad Shipyard invited 250 people, including craftspeople and media. Since the superyacht already officially launched in March, she was just days away from delivery to her owner.
Extra Time is the second hull in the C144S series. (The series was inspired by the yacht Ace, which Conrad Shipyard delivered in 2023.) Featuring staterooms for 10 guests and the owner, the yacht has multiple areas for entertaining friends and family. In fact, this is the reason why the owner chose the name he did. Alfresco spaces play an important role in get-togethers, of course, with sunning areas and bars. A hot tub on the uppermost deck is a good place not only to unwind, but also to do so in privacy.
Although interior images aren’t yet available, a Polish news agency captured some glimpses in the video above (plus a visit to the shipyard). As you will see, the décor, from m2atelier, is understated. One particular feature should be quite popular in her travels, too: a piano. The owner is a fan of classical music.
At the christening, Extra Time’s godmother had the honor of speaking. “Sail the seas and oceans, bring glory to Conrad Shipyard, bring honor to Poland,” she said. “I name you Extra Time.”
Look for the yacht to spend her first summer season in the South of France.
