UPDATE, APRIL 7, 2025: Benetti has handed over the yacht Iryna to her owner. A few additional details have become available about the highly personalized interiors, too. Examples include custom pleated leather, from Benetti’s own interiors division. Next-gen leather (bio-based) covers ceilings, too, with natural tanning dyes instead of chemicals. The owner also drew inspiration from the four seasons in selecting fabric colors throughout. On a related note, all of the woods comply with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) responsible-forestry standards.

A repeat customer of Benetti and his family were on hand in Livorno, Italy last week for the launch of their newest cruiser. The debut of the yacht Iryna was significant for Benetti, too. She’s the first in its B.Now 67M series.
In fact, this is the largest B.Now project in the water to date. Spanning sizes from 164 to 236 feet (50 to 72 meters), the B.Now range is semi-custom. All styling is from RWD, with a set engineering package, though interiors of course are for owners to tailor with the design team of their choice. Additionally attractive to customers, the series affords delivery about one-third sooner than a fully custom yacht. Consider, for example, that the launch of the yacht Iryna occurred within three years of the first sketch on paper. Delivery will be within that same three years.

The owner was already familiar with the series benefits, having commissioned the first Benetti B.Now 50M. Notably, she also bore the name Iryna, celebrating her launch in 2021. Further notable back then, the owner chose a traditional enclosed beach club rather than the now-famous Oasis Deck. The Oasis Deck creates a bigger, more open-air beach club with folding platforms and a pool. This time around, the owner did opt for it. Altogether, there’s about 2,045 square feet (190 square meters) of aft alfresco space thanks to the configuration.
Since the owner is a fan of Visionnaire furnishings, he requested that Benetti’s Interior Design Department create social spaces with them in mind. Amid the six decks, the yacht Iryna has macassar ebony and curly maple wood floors, along with ceramic tiles. The owner specifically chose the ceramic tiles over marble to be more environmentally mindful. Along those same lines, the leathers aboard aren’t chemically treated.

Accommodations-wise, a full-beam master suite is on the upper deck, a change from the suggested arrangement. The wheelhouse relocated up one level, along with the captain’s cabin, to make it possible. Another unusual request, the owner of Iryna wanted two VIP suites on the main deck and four guest staterooms below, for a total of 13 people.
The family members staying in the VIP suites have the closest access to the gym, since it’s on the same deck. They’re also in proximity to the nearly 700-square-foot (65-square-meter) main saloon. Chances are high that they and the rest of the guests will indulge in a sauna in the beach club as well, yet another custom request. Wellness overall is a priority for the owner.

The owner of the yacht Iryna and his family will be able to enjoy their maiden voyage later this year. She’ll stand out on the horizon for her three shades of grey.
