One hundred sixty-four feet (49.9 meters) in length, the Benetti Iryna is not just floating on her lines, she’s in her owner’s hands. She’s the first of the B.Now series megayachts from the shipyard, specifically the first B.Now 50M, created with the RWD design studio to shorten delivery times for potential clients.
In fact, Benetti says the steel-and-aluminum yachts throughout the B.Now series can see delivery nearly one-third quicker than comparable yachts. (The full series also includes the 58M, the 66M, and the 72M.) All have in-demand features like nearly full-height glass, wellness areas, and an emphasis on outdoor space. They also have sporty styling.
As for the outdoor space, every B.Now yacht can include Benetti’s Oasis Deck, with fold-down platforms aft to expand waterside relaxation. The Oasis Deck additionally includes a pool back aft, which in combination with the platforms creates a sort of open-air beach club. It’s sure to be the social center of the yachts.
The owner of the Benetti Iryna, from the Ukraine, was already a customer of the shipyard and appreciated the possibilities with the new series. Interestingly, though, he opted for a different arrangement for the transom than the Oasis Deck. For example, he wanted a more traditional beach club, accessible via a gullwing hatch. It occupies occupies 387 square feet (36 square meters) and contains a steam room, too. However, the owner did want an infinity pool on the aft deck, with custom lighting.
Inside, the 499-gross-ton megayacht has several areas to welcome guests. For formal dinners, a dining area is on the main deck. The upper deck, meanwhile, contains a gym, for workouts with a terrific view. Four guest staterooms sit below decks as well. Of course, his suite is on the main deck forward, containing a balcony as well.
The owner chose selections from the decor company Visionnaire with Benetti’s own interiors department. Multiple “made in Italy” brands are aboard, as are striking materials like ivory-colored leather overhead and hand-applied, silvery-toned palladium details. Leaf-shaped details with satin finishes abound, too.
Equipped with twin MANs, the Benetti Iryna should top out at 15 knots. Best range, 4,500 nautical miles, should come at 12 knots.
