Signing a contract now to take delivery of a 200-footer in about two years isn’t possible unless a project has already begun. However, the yacht Project Nacre is among the handful available. She’s a 203-footer (62-meter) with significant volume and extra-long range to take you farther.
With a fast-displacement steel hull, the megayacht is in build at Sarp Yachts in Turkey. The family-run Sarp Yachts has one of the largest shipyards in the Antalya free zone. It is relatively new compared to others, though it launched its first project, the Sarp 46, eight years ago. It intends to complete Project Nacre with the input of buyers. The shipyard wants to ensure clients have full say over not only interior design, but also mechanical systems. Therefore, major machinery ordering is set for after contract signing.
For sale through Denison Yachting, which has visited the build more than once, the yacht Project Nacre has a few highlights. For instance, and significantly, she has massive volume, specifically 1,150 gross tons. That’s much higher than some well-known similar-size superyachts with strong sales records. The volume should make the spaces for you and your guests look and feel ample. Hot Lab, which penned her exterior lines, has a few suggestions for those spaces, too. One, for example, puts a dining area on the upper deck, along with a private theater/lounge incorporating a bar and card table. The design studio has three different arrangements for VIP and guest staterooms as well, all on the lower deck.
Naturally, buyers can bring in their own interior designer or continue working with Hot Lab. Regardless, the yacht Project Nacre really shines in her alfresco amenities. Her foredeck pool will be an all-day relaxation space, with flanking sunbeds and a big seating area facing it and the horizon just beyond. Yet another pool is up top on the sundeck, again with big sunbeds plus a shaded seating area. It’s an ultra-private, super-social space.
The destinations where you can enjoy the views from up here are many. Van Oossanen Naval Architects has engineered the megayacht for a 6,500-nautical-mile range at 12 knots.
The asking price for the ABS-classed project is €45 million (about $49 million at press time).
