Deep Blue 115 Yacht to Begin Exploring in 2026

An American cruiser passionate about exploring the world has a fitting code name for his new project. It’s the Deep Blue 115 yacht, starting construction later this year at Cantiere delle Marche.

With design details from two fellow Italian companies, namely Horacio Bozzo Design for styling and Giorgio M. Cassetta for interiors, the 115-footer (35-meter) became official after a few months of conversations. In fact, Jamie Swaine, an IYC sales rep, says he met the owner at the Cannes Yachting Festival. (Cantiere delle Marche and IYC partnered for U.S. superyacht sales last year.) The ensuing time “has been an exceptional experience” for the owner, Swaine adds. In fact, he continues, the working relationship with the shipyard “demonstrates the reason they are the leader in full custom explorer yachts.”

With accommodations for a party of 10, the Deep Blue 115 yacht draws upon some of the styling characteristics of the globetrotting yacht Acala. She, too, has styling by Horacio Bozzo. Although longer, at 141 feet (43 meters), she blends an appealing mix of go-anywhere looks and more traditional luxury-yacht looks. Bozzo says, “We conceived the Deep Blue 115 as a truly pocket gentleman’s superyacht with a strong explorer DNA, and designed her lines to stand the test of time with elegance.”

Although particulars on décor aren’t yet available, the owner wants a relatively traditional interior layout. The master suite will be on the main deck, for instance, with four staterooms for guests below. A main saloon, with slide-open glass doors to each side, and skylounge will be aboard as well. Meals in the dining area will be enhanced by a fold-down balcony to starboard.
