Less than one month from now, the Cannes Yachting Festival opens its doors, with nearly 700 boats and yachts to 164 feet (50 meters). In fact, the 47th edition of the show, starting September 10, has dozens of global debuts. If you’re planning to attend, these are the Cannes Yachting Festival yacht premieres to put on your must-visit list.
AB 125 Yacht
The new AB Yachts flagship boasts upwards of 1,500 square feet (140 square meters) of usable space from the swim platform through the main deck. An aft-deck pool and about 538 square feet (50 square meters) of floor-to-ceiling glass in the saloon alone are other highlights. The AB 125 is fast, too, reportedly capable of 40 knots.
Cantiere delle Marche Yacht Maverick
Cantiere delle Marche has built its reputation on capable world cruisers, and the yacht Maverick is an ideal example. She’s a Flexplorer 146, meaning a blend of a rugged expedition yacht and a traditional luxury yacht. Her owners have a multi-year journey well beyond the Med, including Greenland and far northern climes, in the works.
The yacht Telli, hull number one of the Custom Line Navetta 38 series, has four decks for leisure use. The glass-lined aft deck should attract attention, lending the sensation of floating above the sea. Yet another highlight, the beach club and aft main deck comprise more than 753 square feet (70 square feet) of alfresco space.
Ferretti Yachts Infynito 80 Yacht
The Cannes Yachting Festival yacht premieres from the Ferretti Group don’t just include Custom Line. The first Ferretti Yachts Infynito 80 yacht will be in the same area. An entirely new series, Infynito emphasizes new ways to enjoy alfresco living. The must-see-to-believe bow lounge (pictured) is unlike anything you’ve seen in this size range.
Hargrave Custom Yachts Romeo Foxtrot
The second Romeo Foxtrot for repeat Hargrave customers has been on an all-summer-long maiden voyage throughout the Med. Five king-size staterooms and a galley that is sure to make professional chefs and home chefs equally envious are just the tip of the iceberg in how the owners have packed a lot into this 325-gross-ton fully custom megayacht.
Numarine 30XP Hybrid Yacht
The Numarine 30XP yacht is the Turkish shipyard’s first diesel-electric project. A range of 3,000 nautical miles at 11 knots is why the builder considers this 101-footer (31-meter) an explorer. Further features onboard include a balcony off the master suite and 463 square feet (43 square meters) of semi-open beach area thanks to folding platforms.
Otam 90 GTS Yacht Sexy Me
Surprisingly, the 91-foot (28-meter) 90 GTS series started as a request from an Otam customer for a big, fast chase boat for his bigger superyacht. The yacht Sexy Me certainly is fast, hitting 45 knots during sea trials—3 knots more than promised. Additionally, she has three staterooms and a foredeck catering to cocktails at sunset or lunches at anchor.
Pearl 82 Yacht
This raised-pilothouse motoryacht surprises with a private alfresco area for the master suite on the main deck. She also has four staterooms below decks. The Pearl 82 is the only yacht of her LOA with a raised pilothouse, two aft deck arrangements, and a garage capacious enough for a Williams 395 jet tender and a PWC.
Pershing GTX80 Yacht
The Pershing GTX80 debuts just five months after hitting the water. She’s all about outdoor living. The swim platform can adjust to three different positions, for instance, including level with the aft deck. A galley and bar directly at the aft-deck doors makes it easy to spend all day outside, too. Despite a styling change for Pershing, the GTX80 pledges the same performance, 34 knots.
Sanlorenzo SL86A Yacht
Technically, Sanlorenzo has two Cannes Yachting Festival yacht premieres, the SL86A and SL120A yachts. But, the SL120A made her global debut at the Fort Lauderdale show in 2022. The SL86A yacht, though, is definitely a world premiere. “A” stands for “Asymmetric,” referring to how the port side deck is up one level (as seen here on the SL96A). This permits more usable interior space.
Swan 88 Yacht
Nautor Swan created this model purposely to offer hybrid propulsion with the well-known Torqeedo brand of electric motors. The Swan 88 yacht still features naval architecture by longtime collaborator Germán Frersand of course interiors by Misa Poggi. On a related note, this is the first event following Sanlorenzo’s acquisition of Nautor Swan.
Tankoa Yachts Go
Among the largest of the Cannes Yachting Festival yacht premieres, Go is a 148-footer (45-meter) from Tankoa Yachts. Belonging to an American, she has styling and interiors by Giorgio Cassetta. Nnotably, Go showcases a sundeck firepit and all five staterooms below decks. Further noteworthy, this is the first time that Tankoa Yachts is exhibiting at the show.
WiderCat 92
Hull number one of the mega-catamaran series that has taken off like wildfire relies on electric propulsion. Solar panels, specifically covering 1,615 square feet (150 square meters) of hardtop area, feed operations at anchor to reduce emissions, too. A 39-foot (12-meter) beam, meanwhile, means the WiderCat 92 looks and feels ample throughout her decks.
The Cannes Yachting Festival offers VIP packages, which are still available. They provide you with helicopter transfer directly from the airport to the show, appointment-based visits onboard yachts of your choice, concierge services, and more.
