The newest, and largest, of the B.Yond megayacht models from Benetti is under contract. Hull number one of the Benetti B.Yond 57M yacht series also has what may become the most popular stern configuration.
The news comes about a month after Benetti announced the B.Yond yacht series was growing with two new models. (The second is the B.Yond 40M.) Part of the shipyard’s Voyager range, the series as a whole encourages customers to go farther and enjoy travels longer. They can feel more confident about lowering their environmental impact as well, with hybrid propulsion and a battery bank. The batteries can handle hotel loads at anchor or take on some of the cruising duties, for periods of zero emissions.
With styling by Lobanov Design and interiors by Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture, the Benetti B.Yond 57M yacht offers customers a choice of three aft designs. Firstly—and the one this client picked—is the Beach configuration. Briefly, it appeals to those who want unfettered access to the sea while at anchor. The other two designs are Air and Water. Air incorporates an elevated touch-and-go helipad, for scouting anchorages and epic scenery. Water, meanwhile, makes room for personal submarines and other exploring toys.
Since this project is a Beach design, anticipate a big, open-air beach area. A pool is right in the center, of course, but interestingly, a sliding settee can cover it when not in use. This therefore expands the lounging space. Overall, the owner and guests get 1,741 square feet (161.8 square meters) of relaxation, soaking, and social space aft.

The beach area connects to another versatile spot, what Benetti calls the garage deck. It’s 1,076 square feet (100 square meters) of toy stowage, becoming usable deck space once the toys go in the water. Since it’s beneath the overhang of the deck above, it’s a welcome shady spot, too.
For the interior, meanwhile, Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture is collaborating with the owner for the textiles and other materials. Woods with Forestry Stewardship Council certification (attesting to their sustainably harvested methods) are in the décor. So, too, are more sustainable fabrics, leathers, and stones. Although the look isn’t yet known, generally speaking, the studio has some dramatic suggestions for customers. Specifically, they include a carbon-black stain for wood, and a more medium-tone wood running overhead in some areas. Regardless of what décor this owner selects, there’s 72 feet (22 meters) of uninterrupted views fore to aft in the saloon, on the upper deck. Benetti and the design studio relocated it to create even more enjoyable main-deck space: raised relaxation and entertainment areas
Finally, and on the subject of lowering fuel consumption and emissions, the Benetti B.Now 57M yacht series employs EcoDeck. This is a recyclable material, a deliberate switch from teak.
