RIB manufacturers Sacs and Tecnorib merged about four years ago to better serve owners of a wide variety of yachts. That includes megayacht owners who want stylish craft that still incorporate the compact size and other advantages of RIBs. With the Pirelli X430 tender, just unveiled weeks ago, you benefit from a broad variety of custom options courtesy of superyacht designer Christian Grande’s studio.
Sacs Tecnorib has enjoyed a partnership with the well-known Pirelli brand for nearly two decades. As such, they created the Pirelli Tenders division, with different series from which to choose. The X Line, which the Pirelli X430 belongs to, provides sporty-looking and equally sporty-performing RIBs. Measuring 14 feet (4.3 meters) LOA, and with a beam of 6’3” (1.9 meters), the Pirelli X430 has a 130-hp BRP-Rotax waterjet-equipped engine. This therefore boosts maneuverability, plus creates an obstruction-free aft platform.
Of course, it’s important to be able to seat a full guest complement, too. To that end, this new RIB accommodates seven guests fore and aft. Facing settees in the bow let most of your friends and family sit together. Another settee with a movable backrest aft of the helm lets the remaining guests either sit or lay down to catch some rays.
For those of you who use your RIBs as watersports platforms, the Pirelli X430 offers accessories on request. For instance, a wakeboard rack is available. Additionally, thanks to Grande’s design input, your party will look good while playing or simply transiting from the yacht to shore. Custom gelcoat colors are available for the deck, the console, and the hull. Your yacht’s name can go on the tubes, too. Even the tubes and the seating fabric are customizable.
Your crew will appreciate that the bow cushion is atop a stowage locker. Finally, the steering wheel removes, permitting the Pirelli X430 to stow more easily into limited-height tender garages. With the steering wheel in place, it’s 3’5” (a little over 1 meter) tall. Height reduces to 3’2” (just under 1 meter) when they remove the wheel.
Sacs Tecnorib further says that it has more new tenders in development, for release in the coming months. Simultaneously, it has partnerships in new regions to expand sales and customer service.
