If you live in or frequent South Florida, you’re probably familiar with the TV program Deco Drive. It spotlights companies and events in and around the Fort Lauderdale and Miami areas. Buster (no last name necessary) is among the personalities on the show, and he often lends, shall we say, a colorful element to his reports.
A few months ago he visited Broward Marine to learn, as he put it, a new hobby to help himself stay sane. The result: “Building superyachts!” His visions of installing an onboard Starbucks and a tanning booth are pretty funny. He even emphasizes the importance of doing a good job at welding, “because falling apart in the middle of the ocean can… cause… unpleasantness.”
Broward’s marketing rep, Dan Goodstadt, appears in the segment and takes it all in good fun.
