Any super-size superyacht will turn heads, but when the 73.3-meter (241-foot) Silver hit the water in 2007, plenty of heads turned. Between her 25-knot top speed and ultra-sleek profile, Silver marks a decided departure from the “higher and wider” trend, in the words of her builder, Hanseatic Marine.
The yard credits her owner with wanting the yacht to meet specific performance goals, including the ability to visit relatively shallow-water regions, and wanting her design, from Espen Oeino, to complement them.
Think they succeeded? Here’s a look at Silver, with a special “toy” onboard.
