The first Azimut Grande 95 RPH will be in the water this spring—and these renderings are the first hint at what she’ll look like.
If you’re not familiar with the Azimut Grande designation, it was initially coined for Azimut Yachts’ megayacht offerings exceeding 100 feet (about 30.5 meters). Even though the Azimut Grande 95 RPH is a bit smaller, she shares the same styling.
She also promises a few welcome features, like a main-deck master stateroom and four guest cabins below decks. An alternate lower-deck arrangement replaces two cabins with a TV lounge and games area. Look at the saloon rendering, and you’ll see yet another welcome feature. The Azimut Grande 95 RPH has full-height windows along the main deck, including in the master. Many megayacht builders are incorporating these, so putting them on a “small” megayacht simply makes sense.
A further distinguishing feature of the Azimut Grande 95 RPH is the raised pilothouse (hence her model name). The arrangement bolsters visibility from the helm. It also makes the main-deck master possible. Whether you hire crew (four can be accommodated) or are an owner-operator, the raised pilothouse holds appeal. The Azimut Grande 95 RPH is being built in compliance with MGN 280 regulatory guidelines. These govern small vessels in commercial use (a.k.a. charter) for sport or pleasure, with “small” referring to load line lengths up to 24 meters (79 feet).
Naturally, buyers want spacious alfresco areas, so the Azimut Grande 95 RPH follows suit. Azimut says the flying bridge more than 646 square feet (60 square meters). It includes sunning space, a hot tub, and dining, though Azimut can do alternate arrangements, too. If you prefer more waterside activity, a tender of about 13 feet (4 meters) can deploy from the garage and slide into the water thanks to the lowering swim platform.
Azimut expects sea trials to confirm the Azimut Grande 95 RPH’s anticipated 26½-knot top end and 20-knot cruise. She’s powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M84s.
