Speed and luxury can go hand in hand as proven in maxi megayachts. Tenders can combine the two as well. And, they don’t need to be custom to do so, according to Invictus Yacht. The Italian company believes its newest model, the 190FX, fits the bill nicely.
Measuring 20 feet (6.1 meters) with a beam of 7’9” (2.4 meters), the 190FX is its smallest offering. She’s not short on speed, though. Top end is said to be 34 knots, with a cruise speed of 20 knots. Six passengers total can enjoy the ride together, too. And, the Invictus 190FX is meant to stand up to a variety of somewhat sloppy seas. That should prove for a more comfortable (and drier) ride in a variety of popular anchoring areas when heading to shore.
Creature comforts aboard the Invictus 190FX include a settee in the bow and aft settee that converts to a sunpad. If you wish to cruise aboard a bit, you’ll also appreciate the hideaway bimini. Overall design and detailing comes from Christian Grande Designworks, which has designed a number of luxury yachts and private residences.
The 190FX, weighing 1,874 pounds (850 kilograms), will premiere at next month’s Boot Düsseldorf show in Germany. Base price: €11,500, plus VAT (about $12,600 at press time). A variety of direct dealers will offer it, though so far Invictus Yacht only has dealers in Europe. Check the website for details.
