Tenders have changed a lot in recent years. Some are big enough and comfortable enough for a crowd to spend a full afternoon onboard. The new flagship for Invictus Yacht fits this description. The 47-foot (14.27-meter) Invictus TT460 will roll off the manufacturing floor this season.
As is the case with other Invictus tenders, like the GT280S, this latest model features design by Christian Grande. He emphasizes that from the start, the idea was to create a boat for enjoying all day long. “The sea is not just a holiday destination or an enchanting background for a photograph,” he adds. “It is a way of life.”
The tender, bearing a 14’5” (4.43-meter) beam, can take a party of 12 out for sightseeing, discovering hidden harbors, and more. Enjoying lunch onboard is no problem, thanks to two tables flanked by benchseats amidships. Neither is sunning, considering two sunpads are fore and aft. Although they sit in the shade of the carbon fiber hardtop, the dining tables fold, for more cushions so that your guests can stretch out and relax.
Yet another noteworthy aspect of the Invictus TT460 is the extra-wide feel when the side platforms fold down. Since they’re just opposite the dining area, this should make meals or cocktails all the more enjoyable.
Invictus Yacht’s in-house Atelier Invictus lets you personalize the tender the way you wish. So, for example, you can request teak decking not just for the swim platform, but also the entire sole, too. Additionally, you can request colors to match your mothership for the seating. Different types of seat coverings are available as well. Furthermore, you can even add partitions to create more privacy between areas, if the open design doesn’t suit you.
Finally, for those of you who enjoy taking a dip, the Invictus TT460 has a hydraulic platform. This makes getting back out of the water much easier.
