Codecasa is promoting another new look for its Codecasa 65 series superyachts.
Tbe four-deck-high yacht now has a metallic grey hull and superstructure, plus a pool forward. She remains at 213 feet (65 meters) LOA, with a beam of 36’7” (11.2 meters).
Furthermore, if you’re familiar with previous Codecasa 65 deliveries, you will notice a styling change. The shipyard last redesigned the model in 2014, in keeping with preferences of that period. The look was sleek, yet the yacht retained a powerful presence, looking like she truly rose as high as she did. Now, since the emphasis is on bringing the outdoors inside, the Codecasa 65 has larger ports along the main and upper decks.
Since the yard has not indicated any engineering changes were made, we’re anticipating the new project to see a best range of 6,000 nautical miles between 12 and 14 knots of speed under Caterpillar power. Maximum speed will likely be 17 knots.
Remaining unknown is how the interior will be configured. Previous buyers have requested a main-deck master suite and six guest staterooms below decks. With the last previous redesign in 2014, though, the yard shopped around an arrangement with an upper-deck owner’s apartment. It included a private alfresco area forward. A VIP stateroom was adjacent to the suite, too, alternately suitable for personal staff.
To put the series into perspective, consider that the first Codecasa 65 was delivered in 2008. She remains in her owner’s hands, too: fashion designer giorgio Armani, who christened her Maín. Two more Codecasa 65s were delivered in 2010, namely Family Day and Lady Lau (recently sold and now known as Double Down).
